Pelmet's Extruded Maxiblock Roller Shutter is the strongest shutter in our range and the toughest on the market. It is made from a 40mm double walled extruded aluminium profile with a wall thickness of 1.2mm (compared to 0.38mm for standard shutters).
Exclusive Maxiblock security system
The Pelmet Extruded Maxiblock Roller Shutter not only uses Pelmet's exclusive heavy-duty track, locked in profile and bottom bar security system; it also offers the highest level of security through unique side locking chambers.
These internal chambers secure the shutter slats inside the track, making it almost impossible to pull the slats out of position. The result is a roller shutter that provides you with security and protection from:

Light control
Pelmet Extruded Maxiblock Roller Shutters are custom made, allowing light and ventilation holes to be vertically aligned with each other for better aesthetics and light control. The roller shutter can create a total block out effect or provide a soft filtered light.
